Well we had a five hour bus ride today, so it wasn't as exciting a day as our previous few were! So I took a few shots on our way to Florence.

Somewhere along the way I saw this interesting village in the hill. |

I have to admit, this is one of the more bizarre candy items I've seen. Its made by Haribo who are famous for the gummy bears. These are some type of candy filled pacifiers. |

Our rest stops have Burger King, their have Chef Express |
Once we arrived in Florence, I had some work to do. I had to meet with a few of our leaders to go over things related to my lesson plan. Than I had to make some updates to my lesson plan. I also found some time to do a little laundry and organize my stuff. I still managed to get in a brief walk around the city. The city is known in Italian as "Firenze", and is famous for
Il Duomo di Firenze and the statue of
David by
Michelangelo located here. I was able to walk through the Piazza del Duomo with all of the tourists and see it and the view form the top. Maybe tomorrow I will get a chance to see David?

Not much happened today, but it was kind of nice to just rest on the bus a bit as we are just getting started and have much more excitement to come! Tomorrow we visit the Florence American Cemetery.
