Well we needed two days to get to our final cemetery. Epinal is a good 10-12 hour drive from Nice and so we broke it up over two days. After about 6 hours on Sunday to Milan, today we went another 4 hours to Basel, Switzerland. Tomorrow morning we will go 2 hours to Epinal American Cemetery and I will give my eulogy for Harvey Madore. This afternoon my friend Meg, her Mother-in-law Judy and her two little girls drove up from Geneva and spent a few hours with me. I haven't seen any of them in two years. Unfortunately her husband Gib was away for work and I wasn't able to see him as well. Despite Gib's absence, it was great to see them and we had a wonderful time! Next summer they will be back in Maine so we will see them then!

It was a lovely day! After Epinal Cemetery tomorrow, we are on to Metz for the night and then to Bastogne and the World War Two Museum before heading to Brussels.
